About Studio D Interiors

Established in 2015, the business is owned and operated by Desiree Gaunt, a designer educated in Singapore, the United States, and London with a lifelong passion and awareness for design. With her European design experience and knowledge of American standards and styles, her unique insights are available to clients from Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 6 PM and available across Northern Virginia.

Some of her past and current projects include corporate office interiors, the design of golf resort accommodation, embassy residences, a hair salon, family homes, garden design, event styling, and property staging.

As a leader in the field of interior design, her practice is ever-changing as trends come and go. The busiest times of the year at Studio D Interiors are spring and summer, with a slight slow down in the winter months.

As mentioned before, Desiree has vast international experience and even owned an interior design business with off-site soft furnishing and upholstery workrooms in South Africa. With her comprehensive knowledge and in-depth understanding of all aspects of the design process, she gets that each client has individualized tastes and requirements, giving every project individual attention.
